Individual Football Position Camps (2008) 6th - 8th graders
All (2008) 6th - 8th graders are welcome to join The Elk River High School Football Coaching Staff in learning and improving on their basic skills in the following position camps. Individual Position camps will be conducted with the players in their own shoulder pads and helmuts.
Offensive / Defensive Line Camp July 7th, 8th 2008 9:00-11:00 am
Quarterbacks/Wide Receivers/Running Back Camp July 14th, 15th 2008 9:00-11:00 am
Linebackers / Defensive Backs Camp July 21st, 22nd 2008 9:00-11:00 am
Elks Youth Camp All (2008) 2nd - 5th graders
(This is by far our most popular camp.)
The Elk River High School Football Coaching Staff with Elk River Alumni will be teaching the fundementals of football. Each day will end with a game of touch football and the week will end with a day of football olympics. This is a non contact camp stressing the proper techniques in blocking, tackling, running, throwing, and catching. When: July 28th - 31st, 2008 6:00 – 8:00 PM What: T-shirt, shorts, football shoes, and a water bottle
Youth Contact Camp Grades (2008) 6th - 8th graders
This is a physical demanding contact camp that will stress the proper techniques of blocking, tackiling, running, throwing, and catching. Our goal is to make ever player who attends a better more knowledgable football player. This camp will include offense, defense, and special teams instruction.
When: July 28th - 31st, 2008 6:00 – 8:00 PM What: T-shirt, shorts, helmet, shoulder pads, football shoes and a water bottle.
