Football families,

Friday night, September 30th at 7pm, is the homecoming football game for the Elks varsity football team.  We hope you all can come to cheer on the Elks.  In addition, our youth football teams, 2nd and 3rd grade, have been invited to participate in the homecoming pre-game parade.  The parade route will begin at Parker Elementary, head west down School St, and conclude in the parking lot just east of VandenBerge Middle School.  It usually takes the boys around 20 minutes to walk the route. 

If your team is interested in walking along with the others:

• Staging will take place in the parking lot between Parker and Lincoln Elementary schools.  This lot will be full of floats and vehicles, please avoid driving into this area!  Parents can drop off players on the east side of Parker  (nearest Holiday on Freeport St)
• Teams should start gathering on the west side Parker along the sidewalk between 4:30 and 4:45
• The parade will start moving at 5:00 sharp
• One or two parents are required as chaperones to walk with the boys along the route (this will count as 1 volunteer hour)
• Teams or families should arrange a meeting point to collect players at the end of the parade route (Vandenberg)
• Have your players wear their game jerseys!!!!
