Orono Park

Attention ERYFA families and fans-

Young kids

The infields at Orono Athletic Complex have anchor plugs, which are used to mark the locations of the bases for Elk River's adult softball program. Several times in previous seasons the plugs have been pulled out of the ground, requiring the Parks staff to spend several hours re-measuring the base locations.

The Elk River Parks and Rec department and ERYFA are asking the parents, families, and fans to prevent their children from pulling the anchor plugs out in the baseball diamonds and to prevent anyone else as well.

We would greatly appreciate it!

PARKING

The Elk River Park and Recreation department asked us to pass along that parking on the grass at Orono Park is strictly prohibited.  ERYFA has a good working relationship with the Elk River Parks and Rec department and we are asking all parents to please park in the dirt parking lot next to the field.

Parking on the grass can result in a parking ticket of up to $30 dollars, or your vehicle could be towed.

Thank you in advance!
